The Patrick Henry Half Marathon is a combined event of the Richmond Road Runners Club and the Sports Backers. This 13.1-mile race starts and finishes in Poor Farm Park in Hanover County, traversing both rolling countryside and Ashland’s scenic railroad district. You can register online through August 26th or by mail through August 21st.
Ashland Street Parties Inc. hosts a Street Party on the tracks behind Richard S. Gillis Library with a musical performance by Ron Moody and the Centaurs.
The date of the Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for September 30, 2010!
Market Ashland Partnership is going to have a booth at the Ladysmith Day in Ladysmith on May 22, 2010, from 10am to 5pm, so you can promote your business. MAP is paying for the booth and we need our members to come out and promote themselves!!! We will have the table and tent set up and will have MAP give-a-ways, i.e., balloons for the kids, key chains, bumper stickers, and brochures but we need you to come out.
We can’t promote your business without your help!!!! So if you can’t be there to take a shift and promote your business yourself please give us business cards, promotional items, brochures, etc., ANYTHING to help us promote you.
